About Cindy
I have always owned a dog. As far back as I can remember, although there were 6 kids, I was the one that the strays always "followed home." I love dogs. I think that I prefer them to people. I probably shouldn't say that, but unconditional love is hard to find. Right now I have 2 dogs; I call them "my girls."
Sophie is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She is 6 1/2 years old. She has a heart condition and has been operated on 3 times for bladder stones. We hope to have her problem under control now with diet and medication. She is the happiest dog you'll ever run across. She is laid back -- whatever or whomever comes her way, that's fine.
Then there's Tulula. She's a Japanese Chin. 10 pounds of love for people, but I must admit that she sometimes stays with a friend if I have other dogs in my home. She is jealous.
I have a friend that keeps my dogs when I need for her to and I keep hers when she needs me. They are all very spoiled and are seldom home alone, and never for very long. I decided to start PuppySit because I know that I would never kennel my dogs. I would just never be able to go away if not for the friend that they stay with. I would never cage a dog unless that is what they are used to and the owner wants to continue their routine. I know that there have to be many other people in the same situation. You should be able to be away knowing that your dog is still part of a family. I want your dog to enjoy his or her "vacation" as much as you do. I welcome any questions by email or phone.
